Gua Sha(Skin Scraping) is guided by the meridian and acupoint theory, it is one of Traditional Chinese Therapies

1. Gua Sha Board
Scraping – Gua Sha Horn

2. Gua Sha Oil

Liquid mainly include cold boiled water, vegetable oil (such as sesame oil, tea seed oil, rapeseed oil, soybean oil, peanut oil, olive oil), medicinal oil (such as safflower oil, bruise oil, rheumatic oil), etc..
With Gua Sha oil, Scraping can not only prevent the scraping board scratches the skin, and the oil can also moisturize the skin, open pores, and promote blood circulation and qi.
In addition, Chinese herbal medicinal oil that have the functions of clearing away heat and detoxifying, promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, dredging collaterals and relieving pain, etc..
Scraping – Gua Sha Creams
Such as petroleum jelly, moisturizer, snake oil, voltarin cream, etc.
It can also be used as a cream with traditional Chinese medicine extracts that have the functions of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, dredging collaterals and relieving pain, and fragrant resuscitation.
Precautions
Gua Sha therapy has strict requirements for direction, time, technique, intensity, indications, contraindications, etc.
If the operation is improper, it is easy to cause discomfort and even worsen the condition. Therefore, it should strictly follow the operating specifications or follow the registered practitioner’s advice, and should not operate at home.
People who are with bleeding tendency, high skin allergies, extreme weakness, and severe heart failure should refrain from scraping or scraping with caution.
It is normal to have slight pain and itching in the local area 1 to 2 days after scraping. Do not take a cold bath 30 minutes after you get out of Sha.
Avoid the fan or air conditioner blowing directly on the part where Sha is coming out in summer. Keeping warm in winter.

December 15, 2022Shirley has helped me a great deal in improving my health. Being a Chinese from Hong Kong, I always trust TCM. Although I knew about moxa since I was a kid, I had never tried moxibustion before, until I met Shirley. I had encountered a medical issue in the past few years that none of my doctors and specialists could explain (or in their words "never heard of"). I had also tried cupping, Chinese massage and acupuncture. However, only after I started to have moxibustion and Shirley's five elements tea and herbal teas, I have experienced a huge improvement. As a matter of fact, many of the herbal teas that Shirley prescribes are actually very traditional recipes from the ancient Chinese medical records since thousands of years ago, which are commonly accessible online or on hard copies. However, to feel the pulse, check the body condition and then apply the right recipe for the treatment is utmost crucial and Shirley is proved to be able to do so. And I was told today that the official name of the clinic of "One More Cup of Tea" is "SLB Traditional Chinese Therapies" and there are a lot of information under that page.
